One enquiry. Every home-energy upgrade.
Most people start with air conditioning — the smart ones sort the pieces that belong together.
Air conditioning
Discreet wall-mounted systems that cool in summer and heat efficiently in winter — a modern split is a reversible heat pump.
Solar panels
Generate your own power from your roof and take a permanent chunk out of your electricity bill.
Battery storage
Store daytime solar to run your home — and your air conditioning — through the evening and overnight.
EV charging
A dedicated 7kW home charge point, neatly fitted — often on the same electrical visit.
EICR & electrical
A safety check and, where needed, a modern consumer unit — often the sensible first step before adding new load.
The whole works
Planning several upgrades? One enquiry — we’ll help you sequence it and match a vetted trade for each part.
The upgrades that quietly belong to each other
A modern air-conditioning unit is a reversible heat pump — it cools and heats. Pair it with solar and the running cost largely takes care of itself; add a battery and the power your roof made at 1pm runs your bedroom’s cooling at 11pm.
And because many older homes need a consumer unit upgrade before taking on new electrical load, doing the thinking once — rather than trade by trade — means you plan once, disrupt your home once, and get it right.

How we make money — plainly: installers pay us a small fee to receive genuine local enquiries. You never pay us anything, your quotes are no dearer for it, and we only pass your enquiry to installers we’d be happy to have in our own homes.
We’d rather list fewer installers than the wrong ones
Every installer we match has been checked before your enquiry ever reaches them.
- Certified for the workF-Gas registered for air conditioning; MCS-certified for solar and battery installations.
- Insured and establishedPublic liability insurance and a real trading history — not a van and a mobile number.
- Local, with local reputationsInstallers who actually work your postcode and rely on their name in your area.
- Your details, treated properlyWe share your enquiry only with the installers matched to it. Never sold on. Ever.

Check my postcodeQuestions homeowners ask us
Is this really free?
Completely. Installers pay us a small fee for genuine local enquiries — that’s the whole business. You never pay us anything, and your quote is no more expensive because of it.
Will air conditioning heat my home too?
Yes. A modern split system is a reversible air-to-air heat pump: it cools in summer and heats efficiently in winter, typically delivering 3.5–5 units of heat per unit of electricity.
Can my solar panels run my air conditioning?
In the daytime, yes — directly. Because cooling matters most in the evening and overnight, a home battery is what makes it genuinely work: it stores your daytime generation for when you actually need it. We’ve written the honest version here.
Do I need electrical work first?
Sometimes. Older homes may need a modern consumer unit before safely taking the extra load of AC, an EV charger or a battery. An EICR (an electrician’s safety inspection, typically £150–300) tells you where you stand — we can arrange one.
Why one installer rather than several?
Other sites sell your details to up to five firms at once — then your phone doesn’t stop ringing. We match your job to the single best-fit vetted installer covering your postcode. If their quote isn’t right, tell us and we’ll match you with another. One considered conversation at a time, on your terms.
Am I obliged to buy anything?
Never. The quote is free and no-obligation — you’re free to go ahead, get other quotes yourself, or do nothing at all. No chasing, no pressure.
What happens to my details?
They go only to the vetted installer matched to your enquiry (one per trade), so they can quote. We don’t sell your data, we don’t add you to marketing lists, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
